Windows 11 - What's New?

Most changes that you will notice after transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11 are visual changes. The core functionality of the Windows operating system has not changed.

Most notably, the Start Menu has been simplified and moved from the left side of the taskbar to the middle.

If you would like to move the start menu back to the left side of the taskbar, you can make that change following these steps:

  1. Right-click on the taskbar and open taskbar settings.
  2. Expand the “Taskbar behaviors” section of the settings window.
  3. Change “Taskbar alignment” to “Left”
  4. Close the Taskbar Settings window.
