Raptor Alert Mobile App:
- Settings
- How to ensure all Push Notifications are enabled, including banners, sounds, and critical alerts (very important)
- How to ensure location services are enabled and how to turn on biometrics for easy login (optional)
- Initiating a “Team Assist,” otherwise known as a “micro incident,” for an event that requires a smaller, more specific response from the school and does not notify all teachers/staff with critical alerts
- Initiating an Emergency Response using the “panic buttons on the home screen”
- How to access the group messaging feature, call 911, and share your location with others
- Accountability
- The ability to take attendance for yourself and others, AND update everyone’s locations via the “My Profile and Roster” tab on the hamburger menu
- How to utilize the “Directory” tab via the hamburger menu to account for:
- Yourself
- All students, including those on your roster or not on your roster
- Other staff members and other staff members’ rosters
- Any not signed in visitors by selecting the “Add Person” button
- How to add a location if it’s not in the preset list of locations
If you wanted to use a web browser: Apps.RaptorTech.com
- From your Raptor Account, go to Main Menu > Emergency Management > Incidents
- Under Emergencies and Drills, click into the arrow under “Details” and it will launch a new tab
- You can do everything in the web browser that you can in the mobile application, with the exception of calling 911 and sharing your location
- The group messaging feature is in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
- The left-hand menu is nearly identical to the hamburger menu in the mobile application
- Accountability
- You can take attendance and update locations through a variety of tabs, including:
- My Profile and Roster Tab
- Directory Tab
- By selecting one of the walk-through options on the main part of the screen
- Directory Tab
- You can search for all the same people via the Directory tab, including yourself, other staff members, any students, and any visitors
